What does your city mean to you?

I have lived in Cairo all life and my city is very beautiful.

(Ali spoke very little English so he could not communicate to me properly. But he understood that I was asking about his city, and his eyes lit when he tried to answer my questions in whatever words he could find in English. Seeing that passion and love for his own city was worth it for me.)
